S3 Browser

Overview​

S3 Browser is a Windows client for managing S3-compatible storage services. It offers a simple interface for file operations and bucket management.

How to Connect S3 Browser to Vietnix Cloud S3 Storage​

Follow these steps to connect S3 Browser to your Vietnix Cloud S3 Storage:

1. Download and Install S3 Browser​

2. Get Your Vietnix S3 Credentials​

Before connecting, make sure you have:

  • Access Key
  • Secret Key
  • Endpoint URL (e.g. https://s3.vn-hcm-1.vietnix.cloud)
  • Bucket Name

You can find these details in your Vietnix S3 Portal.

3. Add a New Account in S3 Browser​

  1. Open S3 Browser.
  2. Click Accounts > Add New Account.

4. Enter Connection Details​

Fill in the following fields:

  • Account Name: Any name you prefer (e.g. "Vietnix S3").
  • Access Key ID: Your Vietnix S3 Access Key.
  • Secret Access Key: Your Vietnix S3 Secret Key.
  • Account Type: Select S3 Compatible Storage.
  • REST Endpoint: Enter your Vietnix S3 Endpoint URL (e.g. https://s3.vn-hcm-1.vietnix.cloud).
  • Signature Version: Choose V4.

Leave other settings as default unless you have specific requirements.

5. Save and Connect​

  • Click Add Account to save your settings.
  • S3 Browser will connect to Vietnix Cloud S3 Storage and display your buckets and objects.

6. Start Managing Your Data​

You can now upload, download, and manage files and buckets using S3 Browser’s interface.

  • Keep your Access Key and Secret Key secure.
  • If you have trouble connecting, double-check your endpoint URL and credentials.
